A Genuine Holiday Picture
The tree thing has always been great and the retail store is the American soul of the end-of-the-year holidays; finally, they can stand side-by-side. The religious stuff has been taken out of the tree and now it is 99% what it was always meant to be in America: A really cool symbol to mandate multitudes of proftiable sales transactions. It had to happen someday. It was inevitable to have a religous symbol in the middle of the American culture and not Americanize it. What a relief (!!??)
